Biography

Albert and Mary were living in Zanesville in 1940.[1]

Albert died 12 March 1959 in Zanesville.[2] Burial was at Dresden Cemetery.[3]


Albert Baum Dies; Former Railroad Man

"Albert C. Baum, 65, of 739 McIntire avenue, a former conductor on the Nickel Plate Railroad, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Bethesda Hospital following a six years' illness. He had been admitted to the hospital only a few hours before his death.

Mr. Baum was a native of Lewisville. He was born June 23, 1893, a son of Joseph and Emma Voroun Baum. He had lived in Canton before moving here in 1939.

Mr. Baum was a member of Grace Methodist Church and the Order of Railroad Conductors No. 521. He was a veteran of World War I.

Surviving are his widow, Mary; on daughter, Mrs. Marie Schlarb of 2012 Maple avenue; a son, Donald E. of Cleveland; three grandchildren; two brothers, Paul and Joseph, both of Canton, and a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Kirkpatrick of Toledo."[4]
