Jane (Baumgartner) Danner has German Roots.
Eliza Jane, daughter of Samuel Baumgardner and Eliza Rabenstine, was born 26 February 1860 in York County, Pennsylvania. Her parents had her baptized at Saint Matthew's Lutheran Church in Hanover, York County, on 10 April 1860.
1860 Heidelberg Township, York County Samuel (age 39, tenant farmer) and Eliza Baumgardner (33), John Louis (14), Jacob William (12), Samuel E. (9), Elias (8), Eliza (6), Charles Edward (3), Amelia Cevilla (2), Elizabeth Jane Baumgartner (six months).[1]
1870 Woodland, Fulton, Illinois Sam (age 50, carpenter) and Eliza Bumgardner [sic] (41), John Louis (24, works farm), Jacob William (21, carpenter), Samuel E. (19, works farm), Elias (17, works farm), Elizabeth (16), Charles Edward (14), Eliza Jane (10), Ephraim R. )8), Mandilla Delilah "Amanda" (6) and Emery Elsworth Baumgartner (3), as well as Valentine Yakely (20, carpenter).
