Biography

William was born April 27, 1850 in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He was a son of John and Eliza (Unknown) Baxter, both born in Ireland.^[1]

Circa 1871, he moved to Saint John where he became a Grocer.^[1]

He married Louisa Walker McConnell in 1876 in Kings County.^[2]

For many years, they lived at 139 Leinster Street in Saint John where they raised a family.

William passed away on November 3, 1938 in Saint John. He was interred at the Fernhill Cemetery in that city.^[1][3]
