Biography

Jack was born in 1909. He was the son of Mark Baxter and Margaret (McCorkindale) Baxter.

Jack was a cabinet maker by trade, and a painter out of paid work time. Some people remember Jack for his pickled walnuts which he produced from the walnut tree in the backyard at his house in Brighton, Otago.
