Leah was born in 1715. Leah was the child of Thomas Baxter and Mary Lattimore. Leah passed away in 1748.
Thomas Baxter Jr married Mary Lattimer in 1705. They had 2 children, Timothy and Elizabeth. In 1729 Mary filed for divorce stating that her husband abandoned her and her children and was involved with other women. There are court records that support this. There are other sources that state the Thomas Baxter Jr. lived with Hannah Crowell. Between 1710 and 1718 they had four more children, Thomas, Cornelius, Leah and Malachai. Also, Thomas's father, in his will in 1713, specifically bequeaths a gift to "his 2 grandchildren living in Connecticut" and mentions Timothy by name. All this is supported by Genealogist Elizabeth Pearson WHite who commented on this in her book about John Howland and the MAyflower, Vol. 1.
