Biography

Frances Baxter, daughter of Benjamin and Ruth (Brown) Baxter, was born on 19 Sep. 1789 at Alstead, Cheshire County, New Hampshire.[1][2]

She married Joseph Mercer, son of Joseph and Sarah (Shaw) Mercer, on 31 Dec. 1804 at Norton Parish, Kings County, New Brunswick.[2][1]

Frances died on 15 Sep. 1850 at Kings County, New Brunswick[1] and was buried at Central Norton Baptist Church Cemetery, Central Norton, Kings County, New Brunswick. Her memorial has her date of death and identifies her husband.[3]
