In 1938 they have moved homes but stayed in the same street.[5]
In 1963 John and his wife were living at in Papaeion Place, Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand, he was retired.[5]
Death
John Baylis passed away on 17 Aug 1964 he was 86 years old and was laid to rest in Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North, Manawatu, New Zealand, (Area M, Block .016, Plot 047).
