1841 : In Kingston, Aston Rowant, Oxfordshire : Henry Baily (agricultural labourer, age 40, born Oxf), Ann Baily (age 35, born outside county), and (presumed children) Isaac (14), Robert (14), Rose (9), William (6), Mary (2), all b. Oxfordshire.[2] (Family does not appear in Aston on the 1851 census.)
Arrival in Victoria : Henry Bailey (agricultural labourer, age 44) with wife Ann (age 40), daughter Rosanna (16), son William (14) and daughter Mary (age 9), from Aston, Oxfordshire, arrived as assisted immigrants into Port Philip Bay in 1848 aboard the Cheapside.[18][19]
Death : Henry died in Victoria in 1875, aged 74.[1]

Census records for the family of Henry Bayliss, and his wife, Maria, in Woodstock, Oxfordshire in 1841 [20] and 1851 [21] appear to be for a different family.
