BAYLIS.—In loving memory of Mary Agnes . Baylis, who departed this life July 3 1918 Dearest mother, thou hast left us; We thy loss most deeply feel; But ’tis God Who hath bereft us— He can all our sorrows heal. 0 silent grave, to thee we trust; This precious part of earthly dust; Guard it safely, sacred tomb, Till we, her children, ask for room. Inserted by her loving husband and children.
BAYLIS.—In loving memory of Mary Agnes Baylis, who departed this life July 3, 1913. Through all pain at times she’d smile, A smile of heavenly birth; And when the angels called her home, she smiled farewell to earth. Heaven retainith now our treasure, Earth the lonely casket keeps; And the sunbeams love to linger Where our loved one sleeps. Inserted by her loving father, mother, sisters and brothers.

James Alfred, dearly beloved husband of May Baylis and beloved father of Frank, May and Colin aged 64 years. The funeral will leave C. Little and Sons, Limited, 209, Hobson Street at 10 30 a.m. to-morrow (Tuesday), for Waikumete Cemetery.
