Biography
Robert was born about 1787 in Newtown, Hampshire, England.
Robert Bayman and Sarah Jennings married on 7 Jan 1810 in the Parish of St James, Westminster, England.[1] Both were listed as being from the parish, and their marriage was witnessed by Elizabeth Bedford and John Clarke.[2]
They had at least 4 children, including Caroline Bayman (later Wallwork), all baptised at St Mary's Church, Long Ditton, Surrey.
Robert Bayman, a gardener living at Long Ditton, was listed as a jury-qualified freeholder and copyholder from 1814 to 1824.
Robert passed away in about 1826, aged 39. He was buried on 21 September 1826 at St Mary's Church, Long Ditton.
Robert's last will and testament, probate in September 1832, left everything to his wife Sarah Bayman.
His widow Sarah passed away in about 1866. She was buried on 19 February 1866 at St Mary's Church, Long Ditton.
