Mary was born in 1771 in Shrewsbury, Shropshire, England, to Richard Beacall and Hannah (Onions) Beacall.
Mary married John Webb Watkins on November 1, 1792 in Clifton Saint Andrew, Gloucestershire, England.[1]
She died on 1 May 1847 [2] - her death notice in the Bristol Times and Mirror newspaper of 15 May 1847 reads: " May 1, Mrs Mary Watkins, widow of Mr. John Webb Watkins, aged 76, deeply regretted by her large family and by all who knew her.

••ENGLAND Graves for BEACALL = 1-[1]••
Although Mary's marriage record and the 1841 England Census say that Mary was born in Clifton, Gloucestershire, the only other Mary Beacall in the records born in 1771 (or around that time) was born in Shrewsbury (as most Beacalls were). There don't seem to have been any Beacalls in Gloucestershire at this time, so logically, she came from Shrewsbury.
The name Beacall used to be Bewcoll or maybe Beucol, which A Dictionary of English Surnames says came from a French nickname meaning 'fair neck'.
