Research Notes

  • The biography has been written based on the original family tree on the profile by David Richards[12]
  • The 8 children listed in the biography are what appear to be the children of Thomas according to baptism records on Forest of Dean History Trust site, but are open to suggestion otherwise.[13]

other possible children

  1. James born 1798 Bream and James b1798 in Newland appear to be the same child due to same baptism date and parents
  2. Emey born 1800 Bream and Amiah b1800 in Newland appear to be the same child due to same baptism date and parents
  3. Elin born 1809 Bream and Elizabeth b1809 in Newland appear to be the same child due to same baptism date and parents

all from the list below.

  • This suggests that they are 3 more of Thomas and Mary children but again no confirmation

The remaining children listed cannot be confirmed as children of Thomas and Mary as of 9 Aug 2020 more investigation will be needed to confirm

  • children are
  1. F Anne Beach 1782-1850
  2. F Susannah Beach 1788-[14]
  • None of all the above options can be confirmed who if any are actually Thomas and Mary's children but as 9 Aug 2020 research suggests as stated above.
  • If after further research it may be that Thomas has a further 8 children making 16 in total but again no confirmation of this
