Grant Co. Kentucky Guardian Book A (1838-1871), p. 84. 26 Oct 1859.[5]
W. H. Beach says that at the time he became the statutory guardian of Sarah Margaret Beach and Cassander Beach they were the owners of about 22 1/2 acres of land in Grant County near Crittenden a part of the old Webster farm worth about $25 per acre and it's annual rent was worth about $12 per annum. He says that he has obtained a decree from the Grant Circuit Court for the sale of the 22 1/2 acres of land & that it has been sold by the Master Commissioner of said Court & that he became the purchaser of said land at $25 per acre. ~He says that Sarah Webster had a life estate in said land & that before the decree was rendered he had purchased her life estate & is not liable to pay interest on said money until the death of said Sarah Webster. He says that they have no other property known to him.
