Biography

Nehemiah Beach was born to Benjamin and Patience (Burroughs) Beach on the 18th of May 1750 in Stratford Township, Fairfield, Connecticut.[1][2][3] He was the son of Benjamin Beach and Patience Burroughs. He was baptized in Trumbull, CT, 20 May 1750[4]

Married

Nehemiah Beach married Sarah Middlebrook, daughter of John and Sarah Wakelee Middlebrook, on 17 January 1771. Widows name given as Sarah in probate records.[5] There may have been 10 children born to this union.

Death

Nehemiah died in 1792 in Bridgeport, Fairfield, Connecticut, USA[5]

In 1792, his estate was represented as insolvent.[6]

His inventory was completed on 31 August 1792 in Stratford.[7]

The widow's dower was set out to Sarah.[8]

Notes

There are two different dates for his birthday in the profile with sources one is 20th of May and the other 18th of May these need to be searched and corrected to the right date. 20th may well be christening date.

Beach-4199 and Beach-3349 appear to represent the same person because: Same names, birth years, fathers. There was a mix-up re: mothers, and duplication of the whole family.
