Biography
Eileen was born in 1921, the daughter of Louis Beach and Lucy Simpson.[1] She was enumerated, age 7, in her parents' home in Knox County at the time of the 1930 Census.[2]
She first married George W Drake about 1940. In 1940, at the time of the census, they were living in Danville, Knox County, Ohio. They were renting a house for $10/month and George was employed as a laborer at a sand plant, earning $900/year. They had no children.[3] George and Eileen had two children:
- Sandra Marie Drake (1941-1942) Died as a child
- Shaila Joyce Drake (1943-2014) m Charles McDonald (3 children)
They divorced before 1945, and Eileen second married Mertin Kirch, with whom she had two sons—John Kirch and Ronald Keith Kirch (1959-2014).
Eileen passed away in 1999,[1] and her remains are interred at Millwood Cemetery in Knox County, Ohio.[4]
