Elnathan Beach was born on August 30, 1759 in Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut. He was a son of John and Eunice Beach.[1]

He served in the Revolution, although his service is sometimes confused with
Elnathan Beach(5) Edmund(4) David(3) Nathaniel(2) John(1). He was a doctor at Cheshire, Connecticut, before moving to New York in 1795-96. At the time of his death he was sheriff of Onondaga County, New York.
Elnathan Beach married Nabby Atwater on December 20, 1782 in Cheshire, Connecticut.[2]
