Biography
George, son of Thomas Beadman & Mary, was baptised on 22 February 1818 in Braunston, Rutland, England.[1][2]
George married Mary Crossman on 8 November 1856 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, United States.[3] In the 1860 census Geo (age 38), Farmer, was in Charleston, Kalamazoo, Michigan.[4] George was in a U.S., Civil War draft registration record in 1863 in Battle Creek, Cal, Michigan.[5] In the 1870 census Geo (age 30), Farmer, was in Barry, Barry, Michigan.[6][7] George was listed as a mail contractor on 30 September 1873 in Michigan, United States, receiving $250.00 annual pay plus $208.38 additional compensation.[8] G D Beadman was in the U.S., Register of Civil, Military, and Naval Service on 30 September 1875 as a mail contractor in Michigan, United States. His annual pay was $208.00.[9] In the 1880 census Geo (age 58), Farmer, was the married head of household in Barry, Barry, Michigan, United States.[10][11]
George was in the 1885 Kansas census in Arlington, Reno County, Kansas, with Mary and seven children.[12] George was in the 1895 Kansas census in Roscoe, Reno County, Kansas.[13]
No Proof of Death as of yet. Was in Reno County, Ks in 1895 and then disappeared, possibly went on the Okla Land Rush. Middle Name could be Dixon, still researching.
