Biography
Abijah Beal, son of Abijah and Anne, was born in Abington, Massachusetts, on 15 November 1749.[1]
Abijah Beal of Abington, Massachusetts, married Experience (Bates) Trufant of Weymouth as her second husband in 1773 (intentions to marry were posted in Weymouth, Massachusetts, on August 27, 1773).[2] The record does not indicate whether the Abijah Beal she married was this man (who was 13 years her junior) or his father (who was just 6 years older than Experience). Chamberlain identified this man as her husband.[3]
The births of two daughters of Abijah and Experience Beal were recorded in Weymouth:[3]
- Ann, born 9 October 1774.
- Hannah, born 29 June, 1776; married 29 March 1798 to Abraham Bailey of Weymouth.
Abijah died some time after 13 May 1778, when he acknowledged a deed.[4]
