Biography
James Edwin Beal, the son of Eliza (Piddell) Beal and James Beal, was born in 1863 in Sheppey, Kent.[1]
Research Notes
A GEDCOM import Allen Family Tree.ged was created by Living Edmunds on 16 July 2013.
The import contained two records with the same birth reference as the only source:[2] one for Edwin Beal (Jan 1863 - 1865) and the other Edwin James Beal (Mar 1863 - 1867). Given that Eliza cannot have had children in both January 1863 and March 1863, and that the birth reference was the same in each case, those two profiles were merged.
As well as the suggested death dates of 1865 and 1867, another possibility is that James Edwin Beal died in East London in the June quarter of 1863, at most six months after his birth.[3]
