JAMES BEALE was tried and convicted on the 13 April, 1791, at the Old Bailey, Middlesex, England, and transported to New South Wales for 7 years via the ship Pitt, arriving February 1792. ROBERT HARCOMBE , JAMES BEALE , and CHARLES BEALE , were indicted for feloniously stealing, on the 9th of March , ten iron bars, belonging to the Most Noble Hugh, Duke of Northumberland , affixed to his dwelling house at Sion. He had 6 siblings: Jeremiah Beale , Hannah Beale , John Beale , Judith Beale , Barbara Beale and Mary Quaif (born Beale). Jeremiah Beale, one of 134 convicts transported on the Hercules, 24 December 1824 [4]
In 1828 his occupation was Government Servant to Charles Whalan Prospect NSW.20 Jan 1847 Farmer Fish River NSW. James passed away on October 3 1858, at age 74 in Mountain Home Tarana NSW.
