Notes from "Family Search"

Henry Mylo Beall was born in Fairfax County, Virginia, circa 1797-1798; died March 4, 1861. On March 12, 1821 he married Elizabeth Parsons, daughter of Edward and Susannah Flesher Parsons. Two of his brothers, Townsend and George, also married into the Parsons family. (Their wives, Catherine and Mary Ann, were daughters of Isaac and Mary Ann Mace Parsons.) It is not known by this writer whether any familial relationship existed between Edward and Isaac Parsons. Henry Beall first accompanied his brothers and their sister into what is now Gilmer County, West Virginia. After his wife Elizabeth died, he married Mary Magdalene Stump. He acquired extensive land holdings in an area that was later to become a part of what is now Calhoun County, West Virginia. He is enumerated in the 1850 census of Gilmer County at age fifty three.
