Biography

Birth

Joseph Beals was born at Livermore, Maine (then in Massachusetts), on 23 Aug 1803, the son of Nathaniel Beals and Hannah (Leavitt) Beals. [1]

Marriage

Joseph Beals married Catherine Boothby.[2] On 22 Oct 1842, Joseph Beals of Livermore, Maine, and Catherine Boothby of Turner, Maine, published at Turner their intention to marry.[3]

Death

Joseph Beals died on 1 May 1869, and he is buried at the Timberlake Cemetery in Livermore, Maine, where his gravestone shows his age at his death as 65 years, 9 months.[4]
