Timothy Bean is a member of Clan MacBean.

Timothy Bean is the son of Isaac Bean and Ruth (Wells) Bean.

On October 25, 1818, Timothy married Fanny B. Brocklebank, daughter of James Brocklebank and Sarah (Adams) Brocklebank, who came to Sutton from Georgetown, Massachusetts.

Timothy and Fanny had three children, all born at Sutton:

Calista Bean;

Sarah Jane Bean, born October 13, 1830, died February 13, 1849;

John Clark Bean, born Janaury 3, 1833, died March 16, 1911
