Biography
Jesse Bean was born in Randolph county, North Carolina, the son of Richard "Dickey" Bean. He married Mary Bray. Children of Jesse and Mary are:
- Richard Bean, born 1800, died 1859
- Joel Bean, born 1801
- Bartlett Bean, born 1802, died 1881
- Eleanor Bean, born 1806, died 1892
- Elizabeth Bean, born 1800, died 1893
- (Arliff?) Olive "Ollie" Bean, born 1817-18, died 1883
Jesse and Mary are buried in the Shultz Cemetery in Hyndsdale, Morgan County, Indiana. There are photographs of their headstones on their Find A Grave Memorials.
