Biography

Lydia Quimby Bean was born December 1, 1823, at Mt Vernon, Kennebec County, Maine, a daughter of John Bean and Mary (Quimby) Bean. On March 11 1845, Lydia married Joseph Marston Robinson. ^[1]

Children of Lydia and Joseph include:

• Edgar Eugene Robinson, born June 13, 1846, died February 1919, married Margaret Mary Smith

• Flora Isabel Robinson, born March 17, 1848, died June 20, 1866, at Mt Vernon

• Eda Gertrude Robinson, born November 5, 1859, died January 16, 1935, married J. Freemont Davis

Lydia died January 7, 1921, and was buried in the Bean Cemetery, in Mt Vernon. Her husband and the three children here named are also buried in the Bean Cemetery. ^[2]
