Biography

Birth

No record has been found of the birth of Mary Jane Bean. The 1899 Delano genealogy says that Mary Jane Bean was born at Parkman, Maine, on 20 May 1830, the daughter of Philo Bean and Mehitable (Judkins) Bean.[1] Her death record says she was born at Readfield, Maine, and her age at her death computes to a birth date of about 28 Apr 1830.[2]

Marriages

  1. Mary Jane Bean married (Unknown) Hall. She was the widow Hall when she married David Delano.
  2. The widow Mary J. (Bean) Hall married David B. Delano.[1] They married at Peru, Maine, on 25 Sep 1851.[3]

Death

Mary Jane (Bean) (Hall) Delano died of pneumonia at Presque Isle, Maine, on 8 Dec 1903, with her age at her death computed as 73 years, 7 months, 11 days.[2] She is buried at the Riverside Cemetery in Fort Fairfield, Maine.[4]
