Biography
Eliza (Bean) Cadwallader was born in Ashford, Kent, England.
Eliza Mary Jane Bean was born about 1866 in Ashford, Kent, England to parents Thomas George Bean (1838–1910) and Jane Wood (1833–1876). She was christened on 1 Apr 1866 in Westwell, Kent, England.[1]
In 1871 she was age 11 and living with her parents and siblings in Maidstone, Kent, England. Her father was a railway carriage Examiner.[2]
She emigrated to New Zealand with her parents and siblings in 1874 at age 9.[3]
Children: Albert Wilfred George, Pearl Myrtle Eliza, Amy Ruby Elizabeth, William Clarence Bernard, Iris Amelia.
She died on 15 Oct 1935 in Eketāhuna, Manawatū-Whanganui, New Zealand.[6] and was buried in Clareville Cemetery, Carterton District, Wairarapa, New Zealand.[7]
