John (Lyn) Bean Mar 15, 1923 - Mar 31, 2016 Resident of San Jose
After a recent decline in health, John Lyndon Bean passed away on March 31, 2016 at the age of 93. He lived his entire life in San Jose where he was married to Jewel and had two children, Elaine (Weichert) and John. He had six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Jewel passed away in 2010. They were married 63 years.
Lyn was a WWII veteran who fought in the Pacific campaign in the Army Air Corp. He worked as a mechanic since he was 15 years old. He loved hunting and was an avid fisherman most of his life.
Graveside services will be held at Oak Hill at 10:00am on April 23, 2016. Viewing is 9:00am -10:00am in Room A.
