Bill Bean is a part of US Black heritage.
Bill was named as a 15 year old chattel slave, property of George Bean, in an inventory account of his estate dated 8 December 1797.[1]
He may have been the son or relative of Nanny and/or Joe, two adult slaves in the Bean household.
