Biography
Beck Bean is a part of US Black heritage.
Beck was born about 1740. In 1765, she was an enslaved person in the household of Thomas Bean of Prince George's, Province of Maryland.
On 18 May 1765, Thomas Gatton Jr. mortgaged, for 25 pounds, the following people from Thomas Bean, of Prince George's County: a woman named Abigale, a girl named Beck and a boy named Joe.[1]
