Carlton Beard was born on 10 Sep 1923 in Elizabeth, Allen, Louisiana, United States, son of Grover Cleveland Beard and Minnie (Houston) Beard.

In the 1950 census Carlton (age 26), Machine Room, was the never married son of Grover Beard in Allen, Louisiana, United States.^[3]

Henry died on 23 December 2011 and was buried in Buna, Jasper County, Texas, United States.^[4]
