Biography

LORETTA ESTELLE ANDERSON, 83, of Hagerstown, Md., died Friday, Aug. 31, 2012, at her home.

Born April 3, 1929, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William George and Helen Shaw Beard.

She was previously employed by Fairchild Aircraft, and was retired from Washington Adventist Hospital.

Following her retirement, she moved to Fort Myers Beach, Fla., where she resided for 25 years before moving back to Hagerstown.

She was a member of Hagerstown Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Stirling S. Anderson; one daughter, Cynthia Nutzman and her husband, Richard, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va.; and one sister, Beverly Beard Ronchi of Hagerstown.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Christopher L. Holland will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

There will be no viewing.

Memorial donations may be made to Mount Aetna Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School, 10207 Crystal Falls Drive, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
