Marriage announcement: Clinton F Loffler of 137 Court street and Miss Ella Pearl Baird of 227 East Main street were married Thursday evening at a pretty home wedding by Rev. Albert B. Lambert pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal church.
They were attended by Edward F Parker and Miss Florence M Parker. The home was decorated with flowers for the wedding which was attended by a party of about 20 guests, friends and relatives of the bride. Following the wedding a reception and wedding dinner was held.
Mr. and Mrs. Loffler will spend their wedding trip of several weeks on a motor tour through the Adirondacks and New York state. Upon their return they will make their home in this city.
Mr. Loffler is employed as a clerk to Baldwin's grocery store on Arsenel street. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Loffler of Lowville. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baird of Gouverneur. [1]
In 1930, they were living in Watertown, Jefferson, New York. [2]
