Biography

Walter was born in 1804, baptized at South Church, New Fairfield, Connecticut, 4 Oct 1818. He was the son of Asher Beardsley and Hannah Remsley. ^[1]

He married his 3rd cousin, 1x removed, Selina Beardsley. First child of Walter and Selina Beardsley was Hannah Elizabeth, who died young. He was a farmer. In 1836, he moved to Port Clinton, Ohio, where he lived about three years, then returned to Connecticut. In 1865, he moved to Preston, Illinois, where he bought a farm.He passed away in 1870.
