John Beardsley is a descendant of the immigrants William Beardsley and Mary Harvie.

Biography

John was born in 1840. He is the son of John Beardsley and Julina Baird. ^[1]

Dry goods and grocery merchant.

For several years he had a large mercantile business near his native town, and was engaged in the manufacture of cigars. Later he bought a farm of 600 acres at Fergus(on)ville, Delaware Co., New York, and had a large dairy. [Holt]
