The confirmation for WikiTree comes to you as an email, so you may need to check your inbox and spam folder. If you cannot find the email, a new confirmation email can be generated at E-mail confirmation problems.
You add one to three tags for surnames, locations, events with a comment as to your interest in the surname and genealogy. Then at the bottom, you click the button that says add tags and volunteer. This is done on your home page and make sure you are logged into WikiTree.
If you will click my name above after you add your surname tag(s) and volunteer and send me a message I will drop by and confirm you a member or another Greeter will confirm you then you can start adding your family/ancestor.
