Wayne Beardsley is a descendant of the immigrants William Beardsley and Mary Harvie.

Wayne Peter Beardsley was born on December 30, 1914 in Jones, Cass County, Michigan, United States, son of Wayne Roscoe Beardsley (1884–1957) and Hazel Jansen (1888–1956).

In 1920, Wayne was living in Denver, CO, 5 Jan 1920, Enumeration District 240, Sheet 3A. Hans P. In 1940, Wayne P (26), was a single son, in the household of Wayne R Beardsley (56) in Porter, Cass, Michigan. [2]

Wayne (27) married Dorothy Jane Clark (21) (born on April 3, 1920 in Fulton, Oswego County, New York) in 1942. Their son was Lee Clark Beardsley (1947–2006).

According to his son, Wayne Raymond Beardsley, Wayne Peter Beardsley graduated from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He served in WWII as a captain in the Army Medical Corps and was attached to the 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, made famous by the "Band of Brothers" HBO television series. He served as a doctor in the field hospital at Bastogne (featured in the series, episode 6).

Wayne died on June 10, 1948 in Walter Reed Army Medical Center, District of Columbia, aged 33.[3] He was buried in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Virginia.
