Biography

Sarah Bearse was born or baptized 28 March 1646 in Barnstable, Massachusetts, daughter of Austin Bearse and Mary UNKNOWN.[1] [2]

Her mother was not a Native American; see her father's profile for discussion.

She married John Hamlin (aka Hamblin) in August 1667.[3]

She died 30 March 1712 in Hamblin's Plaines, Massachusetts.

He is "Hamlin" at his birth and marriage, in the Massachusetts Vital and Town Records.

There are many duplicates of her husband; we need to determine the correct last name at birth for him. Reminder: we use the spelling that was used at their birth-- on their birth record, if available. Or at least on records contemporary to their life.
