Research Notes:

Note: There are details that suggest that she may have acted as a citizen providing support during the civil war. Her father had passed away prior to the war and Margaret may have taken it upon herself to provide assistance from the family farm. Later, shortly after the war, (1866) Margaret married her husband a civil war veteran Sherron Liles. Further important research is needed to source and confirm.
