Biography

Ammon Beasley, son of Renjamin and Rachel (Prather) Beasley, was born on 27 March 1800[1]in North Carolina.[2]

He married Lucy Leake on 25 Oct. 1824 at Stokes, North Carolina.[2][3]

He married Malinda Sikes.[4][5] about 1844.

He was a farmer when he and Malinda appeared on the census of 19 Sep. 1850 at Lee County, Virginia.[6]

He married Mahala Coomer on 5 April 1859 at Wayne County, Kentucky.[7]

He was a farmer when he and Mahala appeared on the census of 11 Aug. 1860 at Wayne County, Kentucky.[8] He was a farmer when he and Mahala appeared on the census of 9 Aug. 1870 at Harrison, Pulaski County, Kentucky.[9]

Ammon died on 8 March 1878 probably in Pulaski County, Kentucky and was buried at Caintown Cemetery, Pulaski County, Kentucky. His memorial has a photo of his headstone.[1]
