DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Pheraby by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Pheraby:

Hi, Sharon. I was meaning to ask you about this whole Darlington Beasley family. Specifically, about Mary Pheraba, do we know for sure that she was "Mary" Pheraba (or whatever spelling)? Besides, I haven't seen direct evidence of her being a daughter. I know there is indirect evidence of the connection of the Beasley and Pipkins and I'm not doubting it. And it isn't just her that I wonder about. Ever since I took on the fallacy that John of Darlington is the son of Solomon, I've felt like the whole family is sometimes mistaken. We know some names that appear in John's Will. There are others, but who?

YDNA confirms with no doubt that John is a match to John Beasley of Craven County, NC (Blue Group, same as me). Part of my reason for wanting to get this family nailed down... in fact, all of the SC Beasleys is that there are so many unanswered questions about who they are how they got there. The first obstacle has been ridding people of the Solomon connection. Maybe because of that confusion, there are so many different children attributed to John and Margaret. There are other Beasley families in Darlington at the same time that need to be considered.

Yesterday, I added two space pages consisting of related research papers connected with this family. I should probably put together a summary paper of all the players and questions on the table. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Research_Notes_John_Beasley_of_Darlington_County%2C_SC https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:John_Beesley_of_Rutherford_TN_vs_John_Beasley_of_Darlington_SC

Beasley-3663 and Beasley-2358 appear to represent the same person because: Not sure "Mary" Pheraby is correct Mostly seen as some form of Pheraby. All data for Beasley-3663 should go to the number Beasley-2358, as the lower number. Clear duplicate
