Biography

James was born about 1811 in Virginia and a son of Joseph Beathe and Barbara Moomaw. Daniel Pricer was appointed guardian for Margaret, John, James, Joseph, Catherine and Aaron, minors and legal reprentatives of Joseph Beathe on April 30, 1821 in Ross County, Ohio. James married Susanna Kerr on September 14, 1831 in Ross County, Ohio He passed away in 1895 and buried in the Twin Township Cemetery in Bourneville. Ross County, Ohio. [1] The family surname was originally spelled Beathe but on James tombstone it is spelled Beath.
