Anne was born about 1782. ^[1]

She was the daughter of Angus Beaton and Isabel Beaton. ^[2]

Anne was a passenger on The Dove crossing from Fort William, Scotland to Pictou, Nova Scotia in 1801. The ship's passenger list includes Margaret's father Angus along with Angus's full family.^[1]
