Biography

(Henry, Henry, William Beatty) FamilySearch Tree has been put together by several Descendants working together. Henry Beatty was born abt. 1818 Ireland according to Census Records, records show the family has been here for generations. He was the son of Henry Beatty who is buried in an unmarked grave in Buck Valley Pa., son of William. Immigrants of Ireland, many descendants in Pennsylvania.

The Beatty Family Served on BOTH Sides of the Civil War. This was Common in areas that major battles were fought. Western Virginia, Western Maryland & Pennsylvania not only divided in lands, politics, families disputes over sides, but many lost lives took place, dividing family forever.
