Biography
Costin was born in 1738. He was the son of Robert Beauchamp and Esther Costin. He passed away about 1818. [1]
According to Coventry Parish Records (Pokomoke City, Somerset Co., Md), b. Dec. 17, 1738. Went to Kent Co., Delaware, 1761 at about same time as his father. (Deed from John Price and wife to Costin Beauchamp of Somerset Co., Md. To land in Murderkill Hundred, Kent Co., Del., Nov. 13, 1761.) Appears on tax lists of Fayette Co., Ky. for 1792-1796. Said to have gone to Nelson Co., Ky later. Records in Nelson and Washington Cos., Ky. [2] He married (1) Kitty Newell and (2) Charity Robinson. A marriage of Costin Beauchamp to Mrs. Nancy Graham is recorded in Washington Co., for 1808, but there is no tradition in the family concerning this marriage. [3]
Costin was born in 1738. He passed away about 1818. [4]
