Topham Beauclerk was born on 22 December 1739, the only son of Lord Sidney Beauclerk and his wife, Mary Norris, and a great-grandson of King Charles II. He was christened on 19 January 1740 in St James', Westminster. 
He attended Oxford University (Trinity College).
22 Nov 1766 Letter to Mrs Mary Pickering at Thelwall, from T. Beauclerk book collector, to inform her of the death of his mother Mary, daughter of Thomas Norris of Speke Hall, Lancashire, who was a friend of Mary's. 
He died in 1780 at his home in Great Russell Street, Bloomsbury.
