William Beauclerk was the eldest son of Lord William Beauclerk and his wife Charlotte Werden. His father was the second son of Charles Beauclerk, 1st Duke of St Albans, an illegitimate son of Charles II Stuart, King of England, Scotland and Ireland, and his mistress Nell Gywnne.

William was born 26 May 1726, entered Eton College in 1738, but died there 28 November 1738.[1]; [2]
