Maria Beauclerk was a member of aristocracy in England.


Lady Maria Amelia Beauclerk was the eldest child of Lord William Beauclerk, later 8th Duke of St. Albans, and his second wife Maria Janetta Nelthorpe. She was probably born in early May 1800[1] possibly at Redbourn Hall, and was baptised 18 May 1800 at Parish Church of Redbourne, in Linconshire, England.[2]

She was admitted to the Ticehurst House Hospital, then called

She was a great-great-great-grandchild of King Charles II by Charles's mistress Nell Gwyn.

She died unmarried on 9 July 1873 at Ticehurstat the age of 73 .
