Lord William Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk (1801-1849), 9th Duke of St. Albans, was the firstborn son of William Beauclerk, and was the second of his parents' thirteen children. He was a great-great-great-grandson of King Charles II by Charles's mistress Nell Gwyn.
He later passed the dukedom onto his own son, William Ameleus Aubrey de Vere Beauclerk.
