She was born to the parents of Maria Janetta Nelthorpe and William Beauclerk, 8th Duke of Saint Albans. She was married on the 14th of July 1825, to Arthur Algernon Capell, 6th Earl of Essex, son of the Lady Caroline Paget, and the Hon. John Thomas Capel. She died at the age of 58, on the 22nd of August 1862, citing Death, Watford, Hertfordshire, England.
